About Children of Nepal Children of Nepal is a small charitable organisation that has the aim of improving the opportunities available to children living in Nepal, one of the poorest countries in the world.Children of Nepal seeks to do this by;-
Despite being one of the poorest countries in the world, Nepal is one that is visited by large numbers of tourists every year. This is largely due to it having, within its boundaries, Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain. The income from tourism however, is not sufficient to fund the vast amount of development that is required to improve living standards and reach the educational opportunities enjoyed by children in developed nations. Nepal has large-scale aid projects taking place alongside
small-scale projects and activities. Some are funded by the
government of Nepal and some by other countries.Children of Nepal
aims to make a direct impact on the Since 1997, Children of Nepal has initiated, funded and supervised various projects in the Gaidakot region. We have provided sanitation or clean drinking water in schools in Gaidakot, Hardi and Shree Bhagyodaya and built or upgraded classrooms in schools in Bijaya, Mahendra and Panchakanya.
