PROJECTS - Children of Nepal

Website of the British charity, Children of Nepal which builds and maintains schools, renovates classrooms and installs sanitation and clean water, at schools in rural Nepal, Asia to expand and improve educational opportunities for the children in Nepal, VISIT THIS SITE.

Projects

To date, the majority of our work has been with schools and children in the Nawal Parasi District of central Nepal, close to the town of Narayanghat, which is about 100 miles SW of Kathmandu.The region is within the Terai, the lowland strip of land along the southern strip of the country. It is a rural area, with the majority of families living by subsistence farming.
It is also an area of natural beauty, with Chitwan Wildlife Park lying on the opposite side of the Narayani River.

Projects have involved the building of additional facilities at schools as well as sponsoring a number of children in need, to go to school.
